Iman

I want to pay tribute to Iman who was honored June 7th by the CFDA with the Fashion Icon Lifetime Achievement Award.  What an icon she is, I've always thought of her as one of the most stunning models ever and she brought an ethnic allure to an industry that was in dire need when she first appeared on the scene in Vogue 1976. She has had a tremendous career as a model and as a business woman with the success of Iman Cosmetics and her clothing line Global Chic.  She is also an avid philanthropist donating her time to Keep A Child Alive and the Children's Defense Fund as well as the always stylish and cool wife to the one and only David Bowie.  So here's to Iman, thank you for being such a wonderful example of a model, business woman, philanthropist and wife, cheers!
