The Huffinton Post (via WWD) just reported that 100 pieces by the late Alexander McQueen will be featured in the Costume Institute's next exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. McQueen was the master of artistic dramatic fashion and deserves to be recognized for his exquistite work, it's the perfect choice for next year. I can only imagine the show will be unreal, definitely one to remember and the perfect reason to go to NY! To read the entire article click here.

I should be back in NYC by late June -- we should head to the exhibit together. I'd love to see some of these larger-than-life designs in person.
ReplyDeleteThe man was a genius but that was not enough for him. His compagnion mentioned the hypocrisy of people around him thatthe designer could not deal with, plus losing his mother. Too much for him. He had it all but in this industry you have more leeches and less real friends.
ReplyDeleteHe left too soon. Sad!
speechless.
