Frida Inspired Fabulousness

I'm a huge Frida fan and a lot of inspired editorials emulating her just end up really bugging me but this one by Fashion Gone Rogue got it right.  It's so Frida and yet so modern, it's the perfect mix of celebrating an icon while spotlighting some fabulous clothes, amazing jewels and fantastic make up, kudos.

Loving these clean and sleek bags Chloé is rolling out for S/S '12, the colors are so refreshing and the simple designs are just what I'm looking for in the coming year.

I know I lagged on creating a LF gift guide this year, I've been going non stop!  I've been working a ton and posting quite a bit for The Post Social so since it's late in the game I thought I'd just share a few things I would love to find under the tree (found on Elle's Gift Guide for under $250).  The boots are so cute and a necessity in my life, I've been dreaming of a crisp white cable knit sweater for months and that necklace is just plain dreamy...Santa, if you're reading I'll take it all.  I did create a GG for TPS, I spotlighted some great fashion gifts under $25 so if you still need to rush out and get something cute and inexpensive check it out.

Best Celeb Hair Of 2011

These ladies locks were best in show this past year (in my opinion), from fishtails to up dos they were top notch and shining bright.  It will be interesting to see who brings it and who steps out of the box in 2012...

Holy cow, these roaring 20's looks from Vogue Germany are fantastic.  LOVE it all, fashion editor Katie Mossman did a smashing job styling this shoot, any of these would be an incredible to wear to ring in the new year.

Fun Winter Nails, Eyes & Lips

Loving these beauty looks found over on Fashion Gone Rogue, their own editorials are starting to get really good, not only are the photos themselves impressive but these eye, lip and nail colors are fantastic.  Each combo above gives a fun splash of color with a bit of light muted sparkle, so perfect for a little winter fun to get us through the blustery days ahead.

Balmain S/S '12 Accessories

I've clearly stated how much I love Balmain many times and the S/S '12 Accessory line is no exception, it's fricken fantastic.  The way the photos are edited is not allowing for smooth posting so I'm going to direct you to a link over on Fashionising where the entire line is showcased, if your a fan like me it will all knock your socks off.

Black & White

I can't even express how much I love these black & white clothes found in the latest issue of Sleek Magazine, they're classic with a twist which has become my fall/winter '11 staple, I want them all in my closet pronto.  Stylist Isabelle Thiry did a fantastic job with this editorial, (even the model's greasy hair looks cute).  She's my new favorite, check out her site, it rocks.

Dreaming

We had a fantastic fall here in SD and a heat wave last weekend so really I have no room to complain about the weather but facts are facts, it's now officially cold here at night (40 degrees is not warm).  These cutest photos filled with delights from Vogue Brasil have me dreaming of hopping a flight down to the Southern Hemisphere real soon...

Punk Princess

These jewels spotlighted in W Korea are incredible, the lace & gold clothes are pretty fantastic as well and I'm loving her make up but I also love these images because they remind me of when I was this age and such a little punk lover with attitude.  Those years when one can run around with safety pins in their head and look hip are special and go by quickly so this one's an ode to the youngins, may they enjoy their youth.
