For The Love Of Pearls

I've always loved pearls and was lucky enough to inherit some beauties, but I've recently fallen madly back in love with them.  A few months ago my friend Julia  gave me a multi-colored strand from her line Zhulia and I'm totally obsessed with them.  Real pearls against one's skin feels incredible and makes the plastic cheapies pretty impossible to wear again.  I predicted early in the year to my peeps that pearls will be big in 2012 and I have a feeling I might be right....(That first necklace is off the hook!)

Bring On The Sun

So spring sprang in SD and brought clouds, rain and cold temperatures.  This is after an abnormally warm winter so needless to say it's a bit depressing.  These shots from the Vogue Paris April '12 issue are making me crave warm days that I assume should be arriving soon, at least I hope so.  Until then I will live vicariously through photos such as these.  (Along with the sun I want that blue sweater and those pumps pronto.  Also, her hair and make up look gorgeous.)

These shots from the Joe's Jeans S/S '12 lookbook are filled with some super cute clothes.  Loving the denim but also really digging all the tops, shoes and the styling in general.  I need a few of these outfits for the summer wardrobe.

Olivia Palermo looks absolutely stunning on this Elle Ukraine cover.  Those earrings are crazy and her make up is fantastic.  She has many talents, modeling is definitely one of them (and that's not an easy one to pull off).

The L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival just wrapped up this past Thursday.  These looks from Friend Of Mine were my favorite and made my heart seriously swoon....

In full bloom in the vast Arizona desert that is.  I'm trying to embrace more patterns and colors, these gorgeous shots of these fantastic dresses from S/S '12 issue of QVEST Magazine are certainly helping.

Summer Hottness

These shots from Vogue Australia's April 2012 issue are smokin'.  Catherine McNeil is so gorgeous and her hair is amazing.  I'm totally loving that first Stella McCartney dress and this Balenciaga short/blouse number is fine.  Both would make for a super hot addition to the summer wardrobe.

Roland Mouret A/W '12

These looks are seriously fabulous.  Mr. Mouret was specifically inspired the year 1947 and although that's very apparent I also think there's a nice modern edge to these clothes.  I'll take them all.

Balmain + Isabel Marant

Be still my heart.  So totally in love with these two Fall '12 collections.  Nothing speaks more to my So Cal. Western roots, they're each a slice of heaven.
