Spring '11 Ads








Retro is still in.  Miu Miu's ad is so 80's and the other two are seriously old school with an ode to Hitchcock as well as a classic looking Hawaiian style pin up girl.  Don't get me wrong, I love these and think the clothes, accessories and models look fabulous, I just find it fascinating that even though it's a new year and a new decade the past is still very much defining the present....

    I love that little bit of Hitchcock. I just saw Rear Window for the first time recently and loved it. I may not be read for The Birds yet, but I am ready for this fashion.

    I love retrò style, the Dior pic is wonderfull!
