It's A Choice

When I saw this editorial last night from Elle France I knew I had to post it.  Not only because it's more fabulous high fashion on the beach which I'm loving lately but because of the phrase alone "be happy".  This has been a topic of conversation with my friend Ashley lately, things are crazy in our world, Japan is melting and its beyond tragic and heart wrenching to watch these people suffer.  I've also being on the verge of losing my mind over Wall St.'s greed and apparent continuing plan to crash the dollar and profit off starvation not to mention the nuclear power plant that sits 45 minutes from my home that is only able to withstand a 7.0 quake and sits on a fault line.  I vow to do what I can to fight but I also vow to spend everyday happy and grateful for what I have until if or when the day comes that it all collapses...what else can you do??

  1. Great attitude darling. I know what you mean. Sometimes to look at all the horrible things in the world and just feel so overwhelmed. That's usually when I stop and remember all the good in the world. It usually balances out in the end.

  5. You are right the dollar is not what it used to be. Not to mention gas prices and food prices sky rocketing. At the end of the day I'm grateful for having health and being able to have peace every once in a while.

  6. All we can do is be happy and grateful, follow our dreams, and help when we can help. Oddly, even though the caption for the spread is Be Happy, none of the models really look elated.
