Tory Burch & The 70's

Loving these clothes.  I read a great article about the 70's by Tory Burch in the Huffington Post's style section that inspired this latest collection.  She made very good points that all though the decade gets a bad rap, no one should ever forget that they were the years that birthed classic american sportswear.  Yves St. Laurent was "revolutionizing the way women dress" and names like Ralph, Calvin, Diane, Oscar and Donna became familiar.  I appreciated the historical recap, and bad rap or not it's the trend of the moment.

  5. Gorgeous photos! I recently attended an exhibition on fashion in the 70s and I agree that it's an era that unfortunately gets a bad rap. Few people realize that many timeless looks actually emerged at that time.
