I'm loving these super cute looks from The Jetset Diaries for summer 2016.  I could live in that red romper.  And this shirt is perfecto over a bikini.  It would also make for some very stylish camping attire.

Spring Into Summer Wardrobe Inspiration

Spring is in full swing, and summer is on its way.  This time of year things start to feel a bit more casual and relaxed when getting dressed.  Here are a few looks inspiring my spring into summer wardrobe.

A light and comfy jean jacket with a flowy stripped dress, yes please.

Love this (including the fab nails).  We had such a hot winter, but spring has brought a few cooler days to SoCal. This look would be great during those times when the temperature dips.

This Madewell short sleeve jacket is SO cute.

The Man Repeller has got it going on with this rad shirt dress.

I'm so down with this stripe on stripe look from J. Crew.  It's the perfect way to look sharp, without looking stuffy.

I saw these flats by Free People on Pinterest and flipped.  I'm in love.

And lastly, these lace up heels also from Free People are gorgeous, while still looking relaxed.  I absolutely love them.

High Summer

We're half way through summer and I hope you're all having a blast.  The weather has been hit or miss in SD, hopefully the rest of July & August brings the heat!!  I need more beach days in my life before it all becomes a distant memory.

These black and white shots from Fashion Gone Rogue's latest editorial are so pretty.  She has just the right amount of make up on to look natural, and yet the perfect smokey eye to look hot.  A great combo for summer.

How cute are these sunnies??  I think I need pair #1 pronto.  Her super cute pixie, and summery vibe adds well to the mix.  It's all making me very excited for my favorite season.

Wishing you all a splashing around in the water kind of weekend, with lots of sun in your hood.  Here in SD it's suppose to rain with thunder, so like I said a few posts ago, I will live vicariously through pictures like this, and just dream of warm beach days.  Have fun!

Summer Hottness

These shots from Vogue Australia April 2012 are smokin' hot.  Catherine McNeil is so gorgeous, and her hair is amazing.  I'm totally loving that first Stella McCartney dress, and this Balenciaga short/blouse number is awesome.  Both looks would make a great addition to my summer wardrobe.

A Little Sass & Bide

Loving these looks from Sass & Bide's S/S '11 collection.  They're relaxed yet sophisticated, the hats are adorable, and the different orange hues seem incredibly vibrant and fresh.

The pictures aren't as big, crisp and lovely as I like them to be here on the blog, but these clothes from Free People are super cute and well worth spotlighting.  So fresh and fun for the summer months, just the kind of outfits I'm looking for.

Claudia Shiffer Is Still So Hot

These photos of Claudia Shiffer from Harper's Bazaar UK June '11 are stunning.  She was the most gorgeous bombshell of all supermodels in my opinion, and as we see here is still holding steady.  It's wonderful that these gorgeous 40 somethings are continuing to do their thing front and center, it's an excellent lesson that as we may get older (and thankfully wiser) that doesn't mean we throw in the towel and wear a housecoat.  Just watch this video I saw yesterday of a 74 year old professional body builder who looks amazing and started her exercise journey at 56.

Loving the neutral colors and easy breezy flow of these clothes from Massimo Dutti's June '11 look book.  Chic, casual and classy is a great combination and always a winner in my book.  Hopefully they'll get an on line store soon, for now you can find a listing of retailers here.

Let's Go Surfing Now

I can't even explain how much I love these photos and how much they warm my SoCal heart.  The editorial is from Vogue Spain, but I swear this couple is straight out of Venice/Santa Monica sporting a fine edgy Cali beach vibe. The hair is messy bun perfection, the make up is natural and gorgeous, the clothes are super cute and the board itself is rad.

Sandra Bucklund Spring/Summer 2011

This is some truly unique and beautiful knitwear.  The photos themselves are gorgeous and the styling is amazing.  I like how the minimal make up keeps the attention on the garments, and the incredible side bun complements the looks perfectly.  All in all, love!
